It is great to be able to say that ‘the book’ has finally been published and is in bookshops this week as well as The Book Depository and Amazon.co.uk. I will be posting some of the girls’ stories over the next few months but to-day I am just including an invitation to any of you who might be in the North Kerry area on Saturday, to come to the launch by Jimmy Deenihan, Minister For Arts, Heritage & The Gaeltacht, who is also the long standing Chair of the National Famine Commemoration Committee.

Good luck for Saturday Kay, I wish I could be there but will not arrive into Kerry until Sunday morning. Where will I be able to buy the book?
Rosie.
Rosie, a pity to miss you. Where are you staying in Kerry? Book is available in most Kerry bookshops at least and in Listowel in Easons, Flahivs and Woulfes.
Kay,
Congratulations from the Denver branch of the clan! A copy is in the post and on its way to me. I look forward to reading it!
